Abstract
Because of parameter sensitivity of chaotic systems, the minute variation of system parameters results in entirely different activation of system. Aimed to solve the problem resulted from the variation of parameters in the period of chaos synchronization; an adaptive synchronization controlling rule was presented and analyzed. According to the controlling rule an adaptive synchronization controller was designed. The theoretical analyses and simulations show that continuous-time chaotic systems with the unknown parameters and the different initial conditions can be quickly synchronized by the controlling rule. In addition, the parameters of driver system can be accurately identified by the controlling rule
