  • Abstract
The paper is concerned with fault-tolerant control (FTC) problem of state feedback control system with parameter uncertainty. A new simple design method is given. By means of Lyapunov theorem, the paper derives three sufficient conditions for the controller to maintain closed-loop systems asymptotically stable against arbitrary sensor failures, actuator failures, both sensor and actuator failures, respectively. Be distinguished from other literatures´ method about FTC, the paper utilizes some concepts such as spectral radius and minimum eigenvalue of matrix to construct constrain inequalities in order to represent the sufficient conditions. Furthermore, controller design procedure is presented. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and simplicity of the method proposed
