  • Abstract
    According to the feature of ad hoc networks, a predictive model of improved Elman recursive neural network is proposed. The predictive model can be used to predict the minimum hops of ad hoc nodes and thus can predict the movements of the nodes. A new algorithm to update and maintain the routing table is proposed based on the predictive model and routing change rule. The new algorithm called routing update algorithm of the minimum hops. DSDV algorithm is improved based on the routing update algorithm of the minimum hops and a routing algorithm of auxiliary DSDV is proposed. The simulating test proved that the routing algorithm of auxiliary DSDV has smaller energy consumption and delay than DSDV algorithm in the routing table update and maintenance
