  • Abstract
    A concept of set-observability is introduced for linear discrete-time systems in a network environment with limited data rate. Sufficient and necessary conditions on quantization level and observation precision are derived for set-observability. Data rates sufficient and necessary for the system to be finite time set-observable are obtained
