  • Abstract
    A S+C+L band double-pass EDFA has been experimentally demonstrated. A gain bandwidth of 140 nm has been measured in the range 1470 nm divide 1610 nm. The proposed amplifier scheme has been exploited also to obtain a broad-band ASE source. Moreover, by considering a ring configuration, a fiber laser with simultaneous emission in S, C, and L band has been realized
