Abstract :
In this article a novel optimized image processing algorithm for replication of fast motion perception of the human visual system [1], [2] is presented. Rapid approaching objects are detected using a CMOS pixel array with internal parallel image processing. The new algorithm will be discussed with several examples. The response time is about 10µs.
