  • Abstract
    Applying the combination method of literature review and questionnaire survey, this paper places stress on the effect of peasant workers´ social capital on job hunting and how the peasant workers to reconstruct social capital through positivist research on 180 peasant workers in Chengkou county.The study found that peasant workers in small towns favored using social capital to search job while the primary social capital plays a leading role in the process of job hunting; the social capital has a significant impact on whether peasant workers can be in employment well as well as their income level; peasant workers reconstruct social capital mainly based on interpersonal trust not institutional trust. On this basis, this paper further discussed in the way to solve migrant workers employment problem.
