            Abstract :
Based on the two-fluid flow model combining by incorporating particle rotation with the kinetic theory of granular flow, Numerical analyses of effect of particle rotation on gas and particles flow behavior in a circulating fluidized bed(CFB) were performed. Results were compared between simulations without and with particle rotation. It was found that the particle concentrations were slight decreased with considering the particle rotation comparing with without particle rotation at the lower part of the bed. With particle rotation, the fluctuating of velocity of particles is more intense. The particle rotation will influence bed flow structure.
