  • Abstract
When serious accidents happen in the nuclear power plant, radioactive aerosol of iodine is one of the elements which can do harm to workers, surrounding residents and the environment. We can calculate the thermophoretic deposition efficiency and the turbulent deposition efficiency of aerosol of iodine in the temperature field within the containment through selecting the appropriate model, and we can analyze the variation of the deposition rate. Then we can find the best way to remove aerosol of iodine under severe accidents in the nuclear power plant, and provide better protection for the safety of the nuclear power plant.
