Abstract
Optimization of the combination of power generation units is a very important problem as to improve the economic efficiency of power plant. Mind Evolutionary Computation (MEC) simulates the evolutionary process of human´s mind. With convergence and variation process, MEC can get the optimum solution Compared with other optimizing method such as dynamic planning method, its arithmetic is simple- and the global optimum solution can be got. This paper proposes some modification of MEC such as adaptive distributed variance and convergence condition, which is used to solve combination problem of power generation units. The result of calculation shows that the advantage of MEC is with faster speed and better results, MEC is viable and efficient for unit optimized combination.
