Abstract
The paper describes how Lean maintenance will help the manufacturing operation. This is part of the Lean Manufacturing concept to meet rapidly changing and complex business requirements. The strategies and projects have brought tremendous results, including: 1. Significant Improvement in Equipment Availability 2. Overall reduction in factory cycle time with better equipment predictability. 3. Reduced maintenance cost 4. Excellent product and yield performance. 5. Improve employee satisfaction.
