  • Abstract
The three control parameters of PID interact and have a more complex relationship with control index, so the PID parameters tuning is more difficult. According to the Principle of expand response curves, through the theoretical analysising and the simulation verifying, it is found that the three control parameters tuning of PID can change into the single parameter KP tuning, there are the simple correspondence with the KP parameter and control performance index: the system has a static error when the parameter KP is too small, the system appears to vibrate when the parameter KP is too large, the system has better static and dynamic performance when the parameter KP is selected properly. Making use of this phenomenon, it simplified the process of PID control parameters tuning.
