Abstract
This paper showcases pensas@MOZ´s activities and results, drawing from enquiries made to various stakeholders. Moreover, it documents a sustainable and social responsible strategy operation, stemming from local competence development, in order to overcome the challenges derived from IT exclusion and globalization adaptation. Results account for a widespread support on a multi-leveled basis (international, national, regional and local), which are giving rise to further initiatives/projects. Given the investment made by Portuguese Cooperation in education and learning in Mozambique, namely through the Project Pensas@moz, a group of investigators of the Projecto Matematica Ensino (PmatE) of the University of Aveiro has decided to elaborate and give life to an idea we consider innovative Divulge Science as a form of Cooperation. Pensas@moz works above all in the areas of Mathematics and Portuguese and intends to unite technology to the learning of these subjects. Presently a structured network, established by the Portuguese Cooperation and by the University of Aveiro, exists in Mozambique. Within this network of schools, a set of equipments are currently installed to allow development of a great number of activities. Our proposal, resulting from the experience of working in several other countries of Portuguese expression and language, is that the Cooperation for development should wager on the Divulging of Science as a form of contribution to improve education in countries under development. Several activities and proposals of Projecto Matematica Ensino for the Science Diffusion as a form of cooperation in Mozambiqiue will be described within this article.
