Examines the impact of maintenance and reliability in the industry applications industry. What makes an electrical system reliable? It could be many things, including the proper design and application of equipment for the requirements, correct installation, proper maintenance for the life of the equipment, and good operating practices. Equipment with these properties would have fewer problems during its lifetime. Expands on the interaction between maintenance/reliability and safety.
