Abstract :
In this letter, we prove that link performance bounds of multiple-input multiple-output transmit beamforming systems employing maximal ratio combining at the receiver and operating over arbitrary ergodic fading channels can be obtained by analyzing receiver diversity systems operating over specially constructed virtual radio channels.
