Firsts and Goals [President´s Message]

Over the next year, the author has several goals for our society. First and foremost, we are all working hard to make ISTAS ´13 in Toronto another great event. The theme this year is Wearable Computing - a wide ranging topic with implications in Biotechnology, digital privacy, and many other fields. We are also planning to expand our web presence even further - readers will be hearing a lot more about this over the next year. She hopes readers will join us as we investigate new platforms and discuss the social implications of technology.
