Abstract :
A new method on static external equivalent network is proposed. The method represents the equivalence of different component types and ensures the consistency of both power flow states and sensitivities of variables in the internal network before and after equivalence. Compared to the existing equivalent methods that only consider the power flow state consistency but ignore component particularity representation and sensitivity consistency, the proposed method is more accurate and effective. The simulation results of the 39-bus system and an actual 661-bus utility system demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
