Security: Active Authentication

The current standard method for validating a user´s identity requires creating, remembering, and managing long, complex passwords. Moreover, most systems don´t incorporate mechanisms to verify that the originally authenticated person is still the same person controlling the keyboard. DARPA´s Active Authentication program seeks to address these problems by moving the focus during authentication from the password to the person using the information system.
