Abstract
This article presents the design, simulation, implementation, and test procedures for a bio-inspired patch antenna array and transmission system. The array structure was based on the Fibonacci pattern found in oak trees, with the antenna elements in the positions of the leaves. We present the antenna array´s validation in an anechoic chamber, and tests performed on the transmission system under non-line-of-sight (NLOS) conditions.
