  • Abstract
    A high efficiency, new-type embedded network controller based on ARM in the distributed control system is designed. It´s used in various industrial control fields. It´s very helpful to meet the needs of the system in real-time, reliability, low power consumption, etc. This paper designs the overall structure and the software and hardware scheme of the network controller. As the key, redundancy design architecture of the network controller is studied. It consists of the circuit design method for redundant logic circuits and high-speed redundant communication channels. In addition, this paper introduces the hardware circuit design of each module, hardware debugging steps and the hierarchical structure design of the controller software. Detailed design is introduced in this paper.
