Abstract :
Reflected waves from ground plane disturb measurement of antenna radiation pattern when the antenna is being tested in the outdoor environment. Some solutions have been presented for overcoming the problem, but these methods have some disadvantages and limitations such as expensive measurement equipment, long-time measurements, and need for a wideband antenna for testing. In this letter, a new method is proposed to overcome these limitations, in which the reflected waves are omitted from the results using an analytical inverse calculation.
