Announcing our new short papers section of IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science and Technology "Terahertz Letters"

Beginning in Volume 4 of IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science and Technology we are including in each print issue a new section highlighting shorter manuscripts with enhanced acceptance-to-publication times: THz Letters. This is a direct response to community and contributor comments voiced at our 2013 Reviewer´s Reception held this past September at the 38´h International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves in Mainz, Germany. Authors expressed a strong desire to be able to highlight shorter, more timely results, without the constraint of having to generate manuscripts of 7-10 pages. As a consequence our editorial board, in consultation with the Administrative Committee members of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society, has decided to offer the community what it suggests, a short paper option, as part of our regular archival quality full length paper journal.
