Abstract :
This letter proposes a nearly perfectly matched layer (NPML) for auxiliary differential equation (ADE) finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method with weighted Laguerre polynomials (WLPs). In the proposed formulations, the ADE and stretched coordinate techniques are used to obtain the update equations for the field components in linear dispersive media. Numerical examples carried out in two-dimensional linear dispersive domains are included to validate the effectiveness of our method.
