  • Abstract
The ultimate goal of impedance matching is to minimize the reflection coefficient between a known source output impedance and an arbitrary load impedance connected by a transmission line of a known characteristic impedance, thereby achieving maximum power transfer. This can be accomplished by the means of a low-loss matching network. There are a number of different techniques that can be used to solve the impedance matching problem.
