Abstract :
This paper presents the results of experimental and numerical studies of the behavior of metallic shaped-charge jets (SCJs) with passage of electric current through them. The possibilities of decreasing or increasing the depth of penetration of SCJs into targets are discussed. It is shown that the penetration capability of SCJs can be decreased or increased by varying the electric pulse parameters.
