  • Abstract
This letter investigates the error performance for the space shift keying (SSK) system under spectrum sharing environments. The secondary network under consideration is equipped with multiple antennas at the transmitter and receiver. The primary network is composed of L primary users (PUs) equipped with multiple antennas. For the underlay spectrum sharing transmission with SSK modulation, the transmit power condition of our proposed spectrum-sharing system is governed by the interference temperature limit on the primary network and the maximum transmission power at the secondary network. In particular, expressions for exact and asymptotic error probability are derived. Simulation results and intuitive discussions are provided to show the correctness of our derived analytical results.
