Abstract
If there´s one thing we´ve learned from Hollywood, it´s that large cities with heavenhugging skyscrapers are not conducive for expelling an extraterrestrial invasion. When the Chitauri´s army unleashed its serpent-like Leviathans, an epic attack on New York ensued, complete with all of the destruction, mayhem, and excitement that is the hallmark of a Marvel Studios film. Enter The Avengers, Earth´s Mightiest Heroes, who may have saved the day, if not the city´s skyline. But where Iron Man, the Hulk, Captain America, and Thor failed, a team of engineers succeeded.
