Abstract :
A dual-band phased array design in K-band is presented. The key features of the array include dual-band performance with large frequency ratio, good sub-band bandwidths, low-profile electrical dimensions of the array element and scanning capability up to a maximum of 50° and 30° at the low and high frequency bands respectively. An experimental linear 1 × 7 array prototype has been fabricated and its performance verified, with good agreement between the results of the full-wave simulations and measurements.
