Abstract
In this paper the possibility of estimation of the parameters of the blood clotting process using the photometry study of droplet samples is shown. The theoretical justification and results of experimental research using proposed method, the example of determination of prothrombin time are presented. Experimental data were used to analyse shapes of the curves obtained at the studying. Dependence of the curve shape on the location of the radiation detector was also analysed. It was determined that the most informative curves are obtained when the receiver location is in the optical focus of the sample droplet. The possibility of monitoring of the dynamics of the process is demonstrated. The paper presents the advantages of droplet samples using for study of the coagulation process. Proposed method allows to reduce the amount of reagents, to increase sensitivity of the analysis and eliminate the subjective factor.
