Abstract :
This article is dedicated to the problem of fault detection observer design for uncertain Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) models with unknown bounded disturbances. The aim is to synthesize a sensor fault observer minimizing the perturbation effect by means of H∞ criterion. The considered observer is used to estimate states and faults simultaneously. Using the technique of descriptor system representation new sufficient condition is proposed in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) by considering the sensor fault as an auxiliary state variable. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
