Abstract
Radio frequency planning has been for a long time one of the major concerns of mobile network operator. In fact, due to the scarcity of the spectrum, one single frequency is reused many times in order to satisfy customer request. The reuse of frequency generates fatal interference that affects network capacity and service. In literature, many algorithms exist for automatic frequency planning; they differ by their complexity and results reliability. In this paper, we are interested to develop a new method for frequency planning based on Fuzzy Logic. The developed method has been tested on a restricted scenario and then compared with another developed tool based on a Genetic Algorithm method
