Abstract :
1.5μm degenerate-frequency photon pairs are generated in a silicon micro-ring cavity by reverse degenerate spontaneous four wave mixing. Their quantum interferences in Mach-Zehnder interferometers are demonstrated, showing their potential in quantum metrology and quantum information.
