  • Abstract
    In this paper we present a new fast chaos-based algorithm for generating random permutations, along with it usage in image scrambling. The proposed algorithm has a hybrid character, given by the use of random values generated by two chaotic maps with deterministic ones. The performed analysis proves that the proposed algorithm it´s fast and secure, being suitable for real-time image scrambling.
