Abstract :
This paper presents a low voltage grid simulation and prototype testing environment. The modes of operation are shown first with their different emulation possibilities as voltage dips, harmonics and active and reactive power control. Afterwards the hardware and software structure is presented. It is based on power amplifiers and a real time hardware. The control structure of active and reactive power is explained in particular. By means of a disturbed signal composition the user interfaces are presented. Finally a standard conformity test of an Electric Vehicle charging equipment shows the functionality of the testing environment.
