Abstract :
In our paper, are presented experimental results based on the function of an asynchronous motor (squirrel cage 3 kW) supplied by a frequency converter PWM. The harmonics of the HF signal generate overvoltages with different amplitudes in the stator coils of the motor. The influence of the connection cable between the converter and the motor on overvoltages is also demonstrated in this experiment. An HF equivalent circuit of a stator coil of the motor is proposed.
