  • Abstract
    We demonstrate robust continuous-wave lasing in a planar index-antiguided waveguide with a 220-μm Nd:YAG active layer. A pump-limited output of 1.5 W with a slope efficiency of 30% with respect to absorbed pump power is achieved.
