Abstract :
46 fs, 4.0 nJ pedestal free high power ultrashort pulse was generated using Er-doped similariton amplifier seeded by nanotube fiber laser. An octave spanning coherent supercontinuum was generated in highly nonlinear normal dispersion fiber.
