  • Abstract
    This paper introduces the main guidelines for the management of high-voltage circuit breakers. The elements and procedures involved in each stage of the life cycle for this kind of asset are considered. For this purpose, the main issues of circuit breakers and asset management, life cycle stages, and risk management are given. Concepts are developed in agreement with those exposed at the standards ISO 55000.
