Abstract :
A development of an Crossed Slot Antenna with ground plane is presented. This one was designed for work like Array Antenna Elementary Unit in an Incoherent Scatter Radar and was designed for 432 MHz. Here are described the requirements, the design process and optimization with software tools. Also there are description of measurements of a prototype, between 410 and 450 MHz, giving a VSWR <; 2. This model have high purity circular polarization that could be inverted (left or right), giving good RF characteristics in a reasonably bandwith without Baluns or Impedance adapters.
