            Abstract :
This article aims to present a design of MATLAB-Simulink based Photovoltaic (PV) module model simulation using a Level-2 MATLAB S-Function builder and controlled current source. The S-Function builder contains an algorithm based on the current-voltage relationship of a PV module. This PV module block is thus connected in series with four of them in order to investigate the behaviour of output characteristics under the condition of non-uniform irradiance. In addition, we implemented a dc-dc Flyback converter and its control strategy to observe the effect of output voltage characteristics of the proposed PV array. Finally, the simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system.
