Abstract :
The sensorless vector control method in induction motor drives is utilized more and more popular in industry applications. The traditional current loop controller is PI regulator but its bandwidth is limited by switching frequency. In this paper a predictive current controller is proposed to solve the limitation of bandwidth in sensorless vector control system. The stability condition of proposed method is analyzed. Meanwhile the sensitivity of predictive system to motor parameters is analyzed and a robust predictive control method is proposed. To compared with bandwidth of PI control system, bandwidth of predictive is tested. The experiments results demonstrate that the bandwidth of proposed predictive system is higher than traditional PI regulator and the feasibility of proposed method is also proved.
