  • Abstract
    This paper summarizes some of the research activities conducted in Egyptian universities. It focuses on two topics; first, novel analysis techniques of electromagnetic scattering problems, which allow faster solution than conventional numerical techniques, and, second, metamaterial-inspired compact-size efficient antennas, which are characterized by omni-directional radiation patterns at all operating frequencies and serve different applications.
