Abstract :
Large energy-saving effect can be expected for air conditioners that occupy the highest power consumption rate of home appliance, by introducing the SiC. In this paper, the transition of power devices, the characteristics, and the issues in widespread use, and foresight of the next generation power devices, SiC, are reported.
