Abstract :
The paper proposed a compound flexible control strategy of magnetically controlled shunt reactor in shedding load situation, which can full-capacity input in time of heavy load line trip, then adjust to the specified value adaptively and flexibly. The proposed control strategy was analyzed and compared to the traditional control strategy in project application in the paper, which can not only suppress the frequency over-voltage of capacitive voltage rise in load shedding, reduce the system impulse and over-voltage duration, but also improve the voltage control accuracy, avoid overregulation. Example simulation was conducted to analyze and compared the effectiveness of proposed control strategies to traditional one, which confirmed the validity of compound flexible control strategy.
