  • Abstract
    When the load of high voltage electricity consumer is low, the line will send large of capacitive reactive power to the power grid for the existing of distributed capacitance, causing lower power factor by the side of metering point substation. The electricity expenses of consumer will increase proportionally. With the case of more electricity expenses for the light-load line, this paper has established the π-type line model, calculating the capacitive reactive power of light-load line and comparing with the measured values, and proposed solutions and improvement to reduce effect on expenses of electricity consumer and maintenance the benefits of electricity consumer and power supply company.
