Abstract
This paper presents investigation of novel circular polarized broadband clover leaf shaped antenna and classic twin dipole antenna mounted on lens for terahertz range. Compact, circular polarized broadband clover leaf antenna covering frequency band of 100-400 GHz, possessing properties of constant impedance and symmetric patterns, is quite new for terahertz detection. A twin dipole antenna is also optimized for comparison which demonstrate symmetric radiation pattern, high gain and constant impedance in frequency band of 100400 GHz. Terahertz performance of both planar feeds is carried out using FEM based software. Analysis of CLS feed mounted on lens is carried out by PORT based hybrid method.
