            Abstract :
Paper used as the substrate of an antenna is one of the great wireless applications, for its eco-friendly, widely and cheap-cost features. In this paper, inkjet-printed flexible monopole antenna fabricated on paper substrate is presented for wireless applications. The antenna with two U-slots cut in radiating patch is offset-fed by microstrip line and realizes tri-band operation at 2.6, 3.45, and 5.5GHz with impedance bandwidths of 23.3%, 33.6% and 36.3% respectively, covered the WLAN and WiMAX. The details of the design are conducted to understand the effect of the double U-slot.
