Abstract :
Design of three orthogonal polarized antennas using half-slot antenna is presented. The antennas have adopted a novel comb structure using slits on both sides of the slot. The comb structure can reduce the mutual coupling among the co-located tri-polarized antennas with three independent ports. The isolation of more than -27dB can be achieved. The antennas are miniaturized to 1/4 wavelength. Simulation results for the antennas show that they work at 2.45GHz with a 120MHz bandwidth. Design parameters are studied. The antennas can be used in multi-polarized MIMO system.
