Abstract :
A planar textile antenna integrated in three dimensional orthogonal woven fabrics is proposed for operating at 2.4GHz band. The unique advantages of the antenna are its structural integrity and conformity to the platform. Input impedance, radiation patterns and the gain are all investigated based on experimental methods. The measured results agree well with the simulated ones, showing the usability of the new generation of load-bearing antennas.
