Abstract :
This paper presents a novel multi-resolution composite array (MRCA) concept for high resolution digital beamforming (DBF) with much less elements than conventional uniform linear array. MRCA examples are presented and compared to conventional full-filled uniform linear arrays and multiplicative linear arrays to show the novelty and effectiveness.
